I have been struggling with things that I find hard to put into words, and when this post popped up in Google Reader, it helped me to understand the way I have been feeling.

There are a lot of very relevant points in the article, and I have realised that as I have grown older, I have stopped working on stuff for my own self, rather focusing on making money and spending time with my family.

There is absolutely nothing wrong with these two activities, and I do find them both very fulfilling in their own way, but I have sadly neglected to develop any creative projects outside my work. This is something that has been bothering me for a while. This blog is one of the ways that I am trying to find an outlet for my creativity, but I am sure that there will be others.
