But seriously, these statues made of scrap metals are truly amazing! Please excuse my amateur photography.

What city is this in?
Somerset West, near Cape Town, in South Africa
Oh, it's a bit far away from PE then. Cool, though!
Damn I would love to see them but I'm not driving to SW now
I'll share an odd story related to this. My friends and I once started an organized religion (state recognized) based on the worship of a giant recycled aluminum head that resides on a local community college campus. The school paid an artist 180k for this 8' tall aluminum head statue; knowing how cheap aluminum is, we figured there had to be a proportionately sized body buried beneath. We did need to come up with a doctrine and belief system as well as a list of followers to be classified as a state recognized church, but the "Church of the Head" did exist at one point in time.
"Woe to him who does not heed the warning we lay before you. At the end of days, the great aluminum giant shall awake from his slumber and crush the infidels whom do not follow his righteous path…"

Agg no, I missed it. I was just at the south side of the mall. (The best I have a cool pic of me next to a life size Fallout power armor.)
Wow!
